A: Call NJEA (201) 292-8093 to set up a pension consultation.
Remember it takes at least 3 months to process the paperwork.
If you wait until June to submit your resignation to the Board you
will not receive a pension check until October.
Q: Can I take a 1/2 personal day on a
single session day?
A: No, you must take a whole day.
Q: Can I change columns in January?
A: Not at this time but it is negotiable.
Q: How much does it cost for prescriptions via mail order?
A: Nothing, if you are on long term medications you should order them through mail order.
Q: Who is my first point of contact if I have a concern about something at school?
A: You're department rep or senior rep is your first point of contact.
Q: How many sick and personal days do I get?
A: You get 10 sick days and 4 personal days.
Q: What happens if I do not use all of my personal days?
A: They rollover into sick days the following year.
